She has worked in public service for 34 years as a teacher, curriculum developer, and youth development officer. She holds a Masters degree in education and is a certified member of the International Society for Substance Use Professionals(ISSUP-Kenya Chapter), having successfully acquired the International Certificate for Addiction Professionals (ICAP). She is assisted by a team of 3 other professionals: a counseling psychologist, an entrepreneurship expert, and a life skill coach.
